The Journey
While a list of Mr. Gandhi's achievements and milestone events in terms of developments are fair markers of his business' journey, his own journey deserves more mention.
Armed with nothing more than conviction, 1970 sawMr. Gandhi start his foray in the diamond industry. Originally a one-man show, he gradually expanded, by recruiting people who recognised the ability in him and by winning over the hearts of clients and suppliers alike, through his steadfast commitment to progress. He proceeded to build a company on the sheer strength of commitment, quality and his conviction.
In time, the next generation joined the business he had set up, drawn to following their father, and Mr. Gandhi mentored them, as only he could, turning them into business doyens and industry leaders.
Over time, Industry limits were crossed, as were borders, as the company gathered momentum. But, ever mindful of the plight of those less fortunate, Mr. Gandhi punctuated his growth with CSR and charity activities, both within his organisation and externally.

His systems and methodology have resulted in a business that transcends National borders and he has changed major aspects of functioning within his company. While Mr. Gandhi is still keyed in to the nuances of the business and the nitty-gritties of all aspects of the organisation, his purview has now expanded to include the roles of Mentor, Teacher, Arbiter and Guide.

Future Goals
"I have reached a point where I don't have any more specific goals for my Company. I leave that to those who are running it.
I now want to explore avenues that will create lasting good for the Industry as a whole. I want to find paths that will lead to all of us moving forward together, roads that we can all walk on, in unison, towards greater accomplishments.
Because marching Osia Gems forward is simply growth, but moving the entire industry ahead is true progress."
